what is tim.pe?
tim.pe is a way to make URLs like http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/default.aspx?bmm=sem&attr=ie8 usable for sharing on sites like Twitter, Facebook or even E-Mail mesages.
how does tim.pe work?
The whole website backend is based on an open-source project called "YOURLS"
aka "Your Own Url Shortener" which basically is a bunch of scripts to add links
to a database and create short links that will redirect you to the original url.
These links will look like http://tim.pe/ie for the example link shown above.
